At my last trip to San Francisco, I forgot to change the timezone of my DSLR camera. It's easy to fix with the tool Jhead:
jhead -ta-9:00 *.JPG && jhead -ft *.JPG
-ta changes timezone and -ft applies the EXIF date to the file itself.
